Software
I am not a very skilled programmer so I mainly enjoy software others have written right now.
Notable ones are:
-
Typst
- I love this thing, my website runs on the html compilation as I am not going to use a SSG
- PDFs are how I do all my other writing, it's just better LaTeX
-
Emacs
- I used vim before but the modal experience just feels clunky after really giving Emacs a try
- I leave on the defaults, am I to lazy to customize? Maybe. Are there great excuses for not doing it? Absolutely.
- The choice isn't that important, great people have written software in Ed and books in every solution under the sun, I just enjoy these things and it feels so nice to use
-
Linux
- Obvious but worth mentioning
- What I am refering to as Linux is actually GNU/Linux or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto it-
-
qtebrowser
- The only sensible way to browse the net, without the editing part vim ergonomics are amazing
- I think recently gotten more popular
